Just a Quick Hello!
Hi! It's me again,
I've been hiding myself away and working on designing Fall 2019 that I almost forgot to post to the blog! I just wanted to give you an update on what has been happening behind the scenes...
Guess what!? I started a YouTube Channel where I show what goes into making handmade clothing and also I answer your questions. You can check out my channel here. Leave me a question in the comments section or email me at stacy@theAesthetik.com and I'll be more than happy to answer your question in the next video! So far I've answered besties questions on the upcycled adjustable antique rings, what is a french seam, how to sew a mitered corner and much more. Check out one of the videos below ...
Also, I wanted to let you know that I am now offering plus and custom sizes! This is a subject that is close to my heart being that I am plus sized myself. Many styles are being offering in "custom size". That is because I know that we comes in many different forms and most of us don't fit a standard. From larger bust and larger hips, smaller bust and large hips, larger bust and smaller hips, and everything in between. For an additional $50 the garment you order will be sized to your specific measurements. A custom measurement form will be email to you after ordering. I ask for you to allow 2-4 weeks for your custom sized garment to be patterned, sewn, and shipped.
You have asked and I have listened! How do you know if you like a color or the feel of a fabric before purchasing? You can request a swatch for FREE. Request as many fabric swatches as you like and a 4" x 4" swatch will be mailed to you. Just email me at CustomerService@theAesthetik.com and I will send them out to you asap.
Before I let you go there is one more thing. I've had a few questions from some of my most loyal long time besties about how I moved away from using the color black. Well I promise that I still love the classic color black and that everything will ALWAYS be available in black! I had found that sometimes it is hard to visualize garments in other colors. So, even though you might see it photographed in green or orange, it will still be available in black. That is of course my favorite color :-)p
Thanks so much for letting me take a bit of your time! Stay runway ready my friend. Much love,
